Install
Install Rill and ffmpeg.
You’ll need macOS or Linux, Node.js 22 or newer, and Google Chrome or Chromium. Run these commands in the environment where your agent works.
npm install --global @runalabs/rill-cliInstall ffmpeg so Rill can turn the browser run into a video. Choose the command for your operating system.
macOS
brew install ffmpegUses Homebrew.
Debian / Ubuntu
sudo apt install ffmpegFor other Linux distributions, use your package manager.
Connect
Sign in and check your setup.
rill loginrill doctorLogin prints a link and device code. Open the link, sign in, and approve the connection. Then run doctor to check that your account, Chrome, and ffmpeg are ready.

Start recording
Describe the flow. Get the evidence.
With setup complete, prompt your agent in plain language. Include the app URL and what you want it to check. No separate skill installation is required.
Use Rill to record the checkout flow at http://localhost:3000. Verify that adding an item to the cart and reaching checkout works, then give me the recording link and tell me what passed or failed.For a bug you’re fixing:
Use Rill to record this bug before the fix, then record the same flow after the fix. Return both links and explain what changed.Your agent starts the browser, performs the flow, and uploads the recording. Open the returned link to watch the run and inspect its console logs, network requests, and interaction timeline.
Use an agent with browser tools that can connect to an existing Chromium browser. For a reusable workflow, optionally save the copyable agent instructions in your agent’s project instructions or skill setup.
