What your agent does

  1. Reads the skill and checks the CLI, local browser, remote encoding availability, credential store, and browser-control capability.
  2. Uses your current task, or selects a short, non-destructive smoke test. It asks when the target is unclear, application changes are needed, or a consequential action requires approval.
  3. Starts your existing dev server and a Rill recording, then attaches its automation to the browser Rill returns.
  4. Exercises the flow, stops recording, waits for processing, and checks the returned evidence.
  5. Returns the playable link, what passed or failed, and the expiry. You can then connect your account to keep the recording.

Anonymous recordings are uploaded to Rill and get an unlisted link. Anyone with the link can view the video and diagnostics. Choose a flow that is suitable to share; avoid sensitive data.

What a completed run looks like

Recording: <your playable Rill link>
Checked: Opened the product page and filtered the list.
Result: Filter worked; no checkout or payment was submitted.
Expires: <the expiry returned by Rill>
Keep it: connect your Rill account to claim this recording.

This is example output, not a recording. A link alone is not proof of success: the agent should report processing failures or checks it could not complete.

Keep your recording

rill connect --email you@example.com

Open the Rill link, sign in with that email, enter the agent’s code, and approve. Your unexpired anonymous recordings move into your account with their existing share URLs. Connecting is not a paid upgrade.
