Make a recording

Use Rill in ChatGPT.

Find and review your Rill recordings, or ask Rill to run a browser task, without leaving your conversation.

Connect Rill

Open the Rill plugin in ChatGPT and install it. When asked to connect Rill, sign into the Rill account whose workspace you want to use and approve the access request.

Your ChatGPT account and Rill account are separate. A Rill connection does not purchase a plan. Browser tasks use your Rill run credits, and recording access follows your connected workspace.

Review a recording

Ask Rill to find your latest recording, or give it a recording link and a question. Start with the moment you want to understand.

Example review request
Find my latest Rill recording. Open it beside chat and explain what happened when the form was submitted. Use the video and captured diagnostics. Say what you cannot verify.

Review the playback and the cited moments. Captured diagnostics depend on the recording method. Reviewing a recording does not make a new recording or verify a newer app version.

Run a browser task

Give Rill a public website and a clear task. Confirm any requested task details and review the credit usage shown before proceeding.

Example browser task request
Use Rill to run and record a browser task on https://example.com. Open the pricing page and find the monthly plan. Do not submit a form or make a purchase. Return the recording and what you observed.

This runs in Rill’s cloud browser. It does not inherit your personal Chrome tabs, sign-ins or localhost access. Follow the browser task guide for supported targets and result access.

Use Chrome when you need your own tab

For a page you are already using in Chrome, install Rill for Chrome (opens Chrome Web Store in a new tab) and follow the Chrome recording guide. You choose the tab and perform the steps.

The extension is not required for ChatGPT to review existing recordings or request supported cloud tasks. An agent needs its own compatible browser tools and your authorization to operate a browser.
